Description
The Apex Hoist 500 Servo is a variable-speed electric chain hoist with a maximum speed of 610 mm/s and lifting capacity of 500 kg (1200 lbs). Its compact design and compliance with the industry's most rigorous safety standards such as EN17206 make the Apex Hoist 500 Servo suitable for a wide range of automation situations, including those that require movement over people.
Low-noise brakes, the ability to "hover" at zero-speed and ultra smooth movement allow the Apex Hoist 500 Servo to be used in environments where chain hoists were previously not suitable and to make the most complex of show moves a reality.
The integrated load cell ensures precise load monitoring without the need for external load monitoring systems.
In conjunction with the Kinesys Apex Drive V2, the Apex Hoist 500 Servo is able to log key data such as run time, maximum load, temperature and brake cycles. This ensures the hoist is not over-exerted, that regulatory requirements are being met and that maintenance schedules are being kept.
As part of the Kinesys Apex system, the Apex Hoist 500 Servo can be used with the full range of TAIT and Kinesys automation software platforms.
