March 12, 2025: Feltboard 1.10.0 Release Notes
Introducing Feltboard 1.10.0! This release takes scheduling to the next level with a new timeline-based editing experience, making it easier to adjust sessions directly in the Schedule view. Expanded agent metrics provide deeper insights into system performance, while new non-interactive story elements improve content structuring. Plus, journey segment filtering enhances navigation in the timeline. These updates refine usability, streamline workflows, and ensure Feltboard remains a powerful, flexible platform for content management.
Edit sessions
The timeline view, accessed from the Schedule view lets you directly and precisely edit a session on the timeline, which affects all instances of that session on the timeline. For example, if you shorten a session, any other instances of it on the timeline also reflect the change.
- Move the entire session earlier or later in time by dragging it left or right. When dragging, the session moves in 5-minute increments. The new timeline cursor helps you place a session at precisely the right time.
- Edit the start or stop time of a session by positioning your cursor at the left or right edge of the session and dragging to adjust the session duration.
- The contextual menu lets you jump to editing your story or a session. You can also remove just one session or all sessions. Right-click a session to access the menu options.
Metrics
There are two new tabs in the Agents tab (Canvases & Agents view): Errors and Payload. They add additional metrics information so you can better understand and visualize the state of Feltboard.
Non-interactive story elements
There are five new non-interactive story elements you can add to story types to provide context and customize story types for greater flexibility when creating stories. These elements are available in the webapp only and do not affect the payload. Once you add non-interactive elements to a story type, they become a permanent part of the story type.
Example of non-interactive story elements:
- ui.title: Text that describes the story type.
- ui.subtitle: Text that relates to the title and provides additional information about its content.
- ui.description: Text that describes the story in greater detail.
- ui.divider: A line that visually divides sections of the story type.
- ui.spacer: Padding (white space) between story type elements. Sizes: small (16px), medium (34px), large (64px).
