Description

The second-generation Big Tow winches are the first choice for theatre installations touring productions and spectaculars that need to move scenery or fly performers across the stage. The BT2 range winch incorporates zero fleet technology, allowing the winch to be mounted easily in any position by ensuring the drum take-off points remain static. The BT2 winches conform to the BS7905-1:2001 standard and the European Machinery Directive due to safety features such as dual brakes and a crossed groove detector. The winches also offer optional safety features including load cells, a slack rope detector, and a secondary encoder. Optional winch control systems are available for applications to be incorporated into SIL 3 installations.

290 Series

The BT2-290 series is the larger sibling of the BT2-200 and comes in several configurations up to an ELL of 670kg. Its slightly larger size allows heavier payloads, faster speed and more extended travel. Perfect for heaver direct flying, or 2D/3D bridle systems.
