Description

The Cable Lift is an electronically actuated platform lift by a single 1.5hp motor and worm gearbox. The gearbox has two outputs driving a single drum with two lines each, for a total of four lines redirected such that each line lifts one corner of the lift platform. The cables terminate at tension springs that are loaded as the lift platform stops at the end of travel to prevent bounce in the platform when it is in its up position at stage level. The deck structure is aluminum extrusion and plywood decking. It is designed to hold a single performer at varying heights.
