Description
The TAIT Pulse Drive is a wall-mountable variable speed drive intended for permanent stage machinery installations. The 4 kW and 22 kW versions can be used to control the TAIT Pulse Winch Install PWI20 and PWI30 respectively. The 7.5 kW 480 V version can be used for controlling the TAIT Pulse Hoist 2500, while the 7.5 kW 400 V is a custom-built drive for the Glyndebourne Opera House.
The drive can be mounted adjacent to machinery or remotely using up to 75 m of cables. The 7.5 kW 480 V version can be mounted in a custom designed flight case when used in conjunction with a connector box - this allows the connectors to face the front rather than down.
The TAIT Pulse Drive is compatible with both TAIT Navigator and iQ control safety systems. All safety functionality is incorporated into the drive and associated machinery; control and safety connections are made using a single Ethernet cable, permitting the use of existing power and network infrastructure.
