Description
The LibraCELL is a load measuring shackle which, when combined with other elements of the Libra system, generates accurate, real-time load information. LibraCELL is designed for indoor use only and is not waterproof.
The load cell features a shackle pin, which is designed to work exclusively with the world-renowned Crosby safety bow shackle. The innovative design means there is no loss of head room, as the load cell is built into the shackle. The Libra shackle maintains a safety factor of 5:1 up to the full rated load stamped on the side of the bow.
A highly visible LED display is built into the load cell, allowing users to view live load data and other parameters via the menu system.
Creating an EN17206-compliant system for fixed-speed hoists
As demand for EN17206 compliant systems increases around the world, there are many fixed-speed systems that no-longer meet the desired requirements of this standard. Compliance can be achieved by deploying a combination of the Kinesys DigiHoist Controller and LibraCELLs.
For rigging applications using variable speed hoists, Apex offers a straightforward and EN17206-compliant system.
