Description

The Elevation Drive is a variable speed electric chain hoist controller capable of controlling hoists whose motors meet the correct specification. The Kinesys range of Elevation Hoists (CM, Liftket, GIS) can only be operated using an Elevation. 

The Elevation Drive has a robust aluminium casing with a wide range of fixing points and uses industry standard connections. Although designed to be used principally by a console, full variable speed manual controls are available on the front panel.

The Elevation Drive is equipped with custom position controller software that allows a high degree of positional and speed accuracy to be achieved. Several parameters within the software can be altered via the user interface provided by the LED display on the front of the unit.

When used in conjunction with a Kinesys Array PD-ES and Kinesys Mentor safety controller, the Elevation complies with EN17206 SIL3.

Elevation Drives manufactured from 2023 onwards are designated the name "Elevation v2" and feature TAIT artwork on the outer casing. Units manufactured prior to this date are known as "Elevation 1+" controllers. Functionally and physically both variants are the same.
