Description
The DigiHoist platform is a range of intelligent electric fixed-speed chain hoist controllers incorporating an advanced digital communications link. Optional features include LibraCELL connectivity for load monitoring as well as encoder and Ethernet connectivity for enhanced positioning control.
The digital communications links allow units to be daisy chained together and incorporates self-healing emergency stop connections, eliminating the need for shorting plugs. Linked units will automatically address the connected channels according to their position in the chain, reducing setup time.
The high-resolution graphic display on the front panel offers comprehensive channel feedback including channel number, status, LibraCELL load reading end encoder information. Safety features include hoist presence indication, limit monitoring, and group halt on fault conditions.
Creating an EN17206-compliant system for fixed-speed hoists
As demand for EN17206 compliant systems increases around the world, there are many fixed-speed systems that no-longer meet the desired requirements of this standard. Compliance can be achieved by deploying a combination of the Kinesys DigiHoist Controller and LibraCELLs.
For rigging applications using variable speed hoists, Apex offers a straightforward and EN17206-compliant system.
