Axis Mapping ECAT interface selection

It would be super handy to be able to have an Axis either natively know what interface an IO is on or have this be a selectable drop down.  This way you do not have to re-map the whole axis.  (....or XML Edit)

  Do you mean to edit the EtherCAT interface number so if you change the ethercat NIC you can just make one edit?

  Exactly.  Basically I have axes/ios with mapping and rules and whatnot, and when I use these as a template to copy and paste, and I change the ECAT interface, the only "easy" way to adjust the interface on rules, mapping ETC is in the XML. Ideally there would be somewhere to set the interface for the NAV back end, so they do not get broken.

  XML editing? You must be a pretty big deal. I lost my XML drivers licenses a while ago.
