Allow Axis Assignment of 3D Engine via root menu on the Space Control Device Links Tab

It would be beneficial for programming and adjustment of the space control device if the end user could modify the axis device that is assigned to a 3D engine (of any type) via the root menu on the Links Tab of the space control device.

Today, I use the Links Tab and the root menu to show me "at a glance" all my axis position links in a single list. This allows me to check that all my assignments are correct.
It would make my workflows faster if I could re-map the axis device for each engine right there.

To be clear, I am not expecting to have access to in-depth data and additional parameters such as scaling, offsets, etc.

My desire is to be able to quickly re-map a space control device as I shift from a simulated pre-programming environment with a single node and sim axes to a real show system with multiple nodes and axis devices distributed across the network. 
In this example, scaling and offsets would not need to be adjusted, just axis device mapping.
It would save me a lot of clicking and navigating the 4th tab.
