Web Panel Feedback

Hi -

I started playing around with Web Panels the other day and had a couple thoughts and observations to share. This show is on Nav 4.8 SP11b2.

The login text does not seem to be grammatically correct. "Assign roles for the each user" does not read correctly. Should it be " Assign roles for each user"?

This show is made up of gear from rental inventory. I was able to install the Web Panel device on a server but I was unable to log in from a web browser. Only when I pulled the License Info for the server did I notice that the node was activated before the date to get a trial of Web Panels. I would suggest it be made very clear on the log in screen that the Node does not support Web Panels. I would also suggest all the servers in rental get refreshed to support web panels.

Speaking of rental gear. I have three GUIs (1 laptop, 1 rack mount and 1 Polaris) on this show and only one of them can open up web panels. The laptop is able to view web panels with Microsoft Edge but not internet explorer and the Polaris and rack mount GUIs only have Internet Explorer and can not open Web Panels. When they try to connect to a web panel the screen is gray with no text or log in box. I would suggest that the correct plug ins and web browsers get installed on rental assets to be able to take advantage of Web Panels.
