Nav GUI - Using the "tab" key to select/move to the next field in a window (Transportation/selection)

Could we study the addition of the "Tab" key while editing device properties such as IO details for transportation across data entry fields?

The comparison is with transportation controls used in Microsoft Excel.
Tab, Shift+Tab for next/previous
(arrows would also be amazing for tables such as profiles or Digital and Analog detail tabs in an IO device)

The Tab trick works really well with Axis Properties and other windows where Tab allows transportation to the next field. But it doesn't transport when inside a table style input box.
