Minimum position linking to a preset

In GBs usage we will 90% of the time want the minimum position of an axes to be the IN dead which would be the show floor. To this end can the position min/max of a linked axis be referenced to a preset? This would mean that the axes would not be able to be driven through the floor, and this position would be dynamically updated by using the show offset feature within the show repository?
