Using show offset from device presets when linked

It would be nice to use offset positions when a device is linked. 

example:

Full black is 8m deep, in in dead would be set in show repository for 0mm and out dead @ 9000mm, show offset set @8000mm. When linking this would produce the correct deads, if the operator gets asked to take the full black out so that the bottom is @4m, they cannot type that into the preset window once it has been linked, the value the have to type is 12000mm.

It would be good to have the functionality to add the offset when dealing with a linked device. Suggested workflow would be for the user to enter 4000mm as asked, and then click "add show offset", then IQ would do the maths for the user.

  Is this a workflow that is being considered in the near future? Without this workflow the show offset feature has limited applications in real world scenarios it seems.
