Smart Entry in Device Names

Hi,

I would like to be able to start typing in a device name in a rule window, device reference, or cue line (basically anywhere where we have to reference a device) and have it start using that text as a "filter" to start filtering out devices in the dropdown. I would also like the ability to just type in the name of the device and press enter to have it find and use that device reference. Even if it was only possible to type in "server_name/io.2" to reference an IO device on server "server_name" it would still be insanely useful.
