Show Repo - Device Editing When Linked

It would be very useful to be able to edit certain elements of an axis device, even when linked to a Show Repo Show Device. Rules for example. 

Failing that, the ability to store the link status ("take a repo snapshot") of all show devices in a repo, unlink all and then restore all links would be a good compromise.
