Panel size outline

Would it be possible to get some kind of visual indication of where a panel ends if a specific size is defined? For example, if I'm building a panel to be opened in a 300 x 200 pixel frame and I tell the panel that it is 300 x 200, it would be great if there was a rectangle drawn in the editor to show that space, and even potentially mask off any objects that are placed outside of that space
